Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient care team in Connecticut. The RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating care across disciplines, communicating clearly with patients and families, and upholding professional governance. Current CT RN license and BCLS with within 1 month of hire are required; BLS and PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Connecticut RN license required; BCLS certification or obtain within 1 month of hire.
• 9 months of acute care experience; pediatrics or ED experience preferred; BLS and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and professional performance expectations.
• Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary team and communicates effectively with patients and families.
