Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform medical examinations, evaluations, and treatment for pediatric patients in the emergency department.
• Provide direct patient care and maintain medical record documentation for billing and compliance.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care.
• Coordinate patient care with nursing and support staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement, utilization review, and committee activities.
• Provide medical consulting to other clinicians and involve patients and families in decisions where appropriate.
• Collaborate with radiology, pathology, surgery, medical oncology, and nursing for clinical management.
• Perform credentialed medical procedures according to standards.
