Job summary

Cook Children's Physician Network in Prosper, Texas, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team. Full-time role with 10 shifts per month, including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualified candidates must have MD/DO, unrestricted Texas license, ACGME/AMA pediatrics residency, and BLS/PALS certifications. PEM board certification or eligibility is required to join CCPN’s renowned pediatric network.

Qualifications

• Must be MD or DO with board eligibility in pediatric EM.
• Unrestricted Texas medical license or eligible to obtain.
• ACGME/AMA approved pediatrics residency completed.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Board certification or eligibility in PEM.
• Excellent communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric emergency care for patients in Prosper department.
• Work a full-time schedule with 10 shifts per month (mixed days/nights/weekends).
• Participate in credentialing, quality improvement, and patient care coordination.

Summary:

Cook Children's Physician Network has an exciting opportunity for a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team in Prosper, Texas.

Full-time is scheduled as 10 shifts per month, mix of days/nights/weekends.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
• Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.
• Board certified/Board Eligible in their specialty area.
