Job description

Hospital associated Private Medical Group seeking full-time and part-time providers to join its pediatric emergency medicine group, Children's Acute Care.

The Medical Center includes a 44-bed NICU, a 25-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Pediatric medical staff support includes neonatal, hospitalist, and critical care staff.

The Pediatric Emergency Department (PED) is one of the busiest in the state, with approximately 39,000 visits per year, and has recently moved into a new 17-bed department to support ongoing growth. The PED serves as the pediatric base for the county EMS system and provides trauma services to the area.

This opportunity emphasizes clinical service and program development. Responsibilities include clinical coverage of the PED and involvement in growth and performance improvement activities.
