University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Colorado Springs seeks an Instructor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. You will provide care to acutely ill and injured pediatric patients birth to 26 years, perform history and physical, define workup, diagnosis, treatment and disposition.

Instructors will work in CHCO Network of Care across Emergency Departments, with 1.0 cFTE clinical effort and teaching of medical students and residents. Active medical license and PALS required.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree completed.
• Board certification and eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Active certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Active Colorado Medical License.
• Active Colorado State DEA license.

Aufgaben

• 100% Clinical Effort.
• Provide coverage for 1,376 hours across CHCO network locations.
• Care for pediatric patients birth to 26 years in ED and related settings.
• Teach medical students and residents; supervise onboarding for APPs.
• Attend required Section monthly meetings and participate in QI and guideline development.
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered urgent/emergent pediatric care; uphold competencies.
