Adjoint Instructors in the Department of Pediatrics – Section of Emergency Medicine work at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) and its Network of Care (NOC) in emergency or urgent care settings. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required.
• Board-certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Active Colorado Medical License and Colorado State DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in a 24/7 Emergency care network (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Deliver pediatric acute and emergency care and perform history and physical exams.
• Maintain skills for safe urgent/emergent pediatric care and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Attend section meetings and contribute to clinical teaching of trainees.
