Job summary

Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital is seeking an END technician or EEG-Non Registered to perform endo-electrodiagnostic testing and related duties. This role includes preparing equipment, attaching electrodes, observing recordings, and assisting in patient/family education within the neurology lab.

The candidate will document clinical data, ensure safety and maintain calibration standards, while contributing to on-call coverage. Pediatric-specific experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required to maintain.
• Pediatric electro-diagnostics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate EEG/END equipment for testing.
• Attach electrodes and sensors according to standards; ensure proper signals.
• Document patient history, medications, seizures, and test results accurately.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment cleanliness per policy.
• Participate in the on-call schedule within Neurodiagnostics.
