Responsibilities

• Performs medication administration as directed within state scope of practice and department protocols.
• Conducts focused assessment and documents findings; escalates abnormalities per policy.
• Provides unit and hospital system orientation to patients and families.
• Ensures compliance with medication storage, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Attends in-service programs, meetings, and rounds as indicated.
• Maintains the department environment and patient care needs; performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
