Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a per diem RN to provide care in the Pediatric Emergency Department. You will float across units as needed, ensuring a comprehensive continuum of care in collaboration with the health care team.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program, RN licensure, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Expect shifts, premium pay, and a focus on patient education and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific nursing program (or equivalent experience) and 2 years relevant experience.
• Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnoses and care needs.
• Continually evaluates progress and applies interventions to meet goals and improve outcomes.
