Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Staffing Collaborative is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Role involves planning and coordinating patient care, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with the care team. Premium pay and medical benefits are provided, with shifts days and nights and potential weekend coverage.

Formación

• Registered Nurse required.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of ED RN experience; preferred 2+ years.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
