Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Staffing Collaborative is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week ED assignment at Vanderbilt Wilson County. Night shift 7p-7a with premium pay of $65/hr, working 36–40 hours weekly, may float between units.

Required: RN license, 1 year ED RN experience (2+ years preferred). Assignment includes premiums, medical insurance benefits, and the opportunity to support hospital patients across the ED. Travel not required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse is required.
• 1 year of recent ED RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
