NONPF offers a 12-month Pediatric Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship designed to train post-graduate APPs through structured clinical rotations, didactic curriculum, and hands-on emergency care for pediatric patients. Fellows work under APP preceptors and ED physicians in a multidisciplinary environment.
The program emphasizes comprehensive assessment, diagnostic testing, patient management, and professional development within a fast-paced ED setting.
Competenze
- Master's or DNP in nursing required.
- Florida APRN license in good standing required.
- ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications maintained during employment.
Mansioni
- Complete clinical rotations and meet curricular requirements.
- Perform health assessments and history taking.
- Attend all lectures and educational opportunities for fellows.
- Order and interpret labs and imaging with supervising physician.
- Care for pediatric patients under supervision and document care.
- Develop organizational skills to manage clinical caseload.
