Job summary

Children’s Minnesota seeks an ECMO nursing specialist to deliver family-centered care for infants, children, and adolescents on ECMO. The role requires MN RN licensure, BLS, and ECMO-related certifications, with several years of critical care experience in NICU/CVIC/PICU.

You will collaborate with the health team, demonstrate leadership in crisis situations, and contribute to a high-performing pediatric ECMO program within a renowned hospital system.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Minnesota RN licensure and BLS.
  • ECMO for the Care Giver course and critical care certifications.
  • 3 years of critical care experience with NICU/CVIC/PICU in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Operate within ECMO patient care with collaboration from health team members.
  • Demonstrate leadership and independent nursing judgment in emergencies.
