Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform echocardiographic studies, assist with TEE and stress imaging, and obtain images with contrast when needed. You will evaluate studies and help ensure ICAEL standards are met.

Requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent; RDCS certification preferred; 1–3 years of echo experience; PA driver’s license may be required. You will operate ultrasound systems, input data, and support quality control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must understand echocardiography procedures and ICAEL standards.
• Ability to perform and interpret echocardiograms with quality control.

Responsibilities

• Positions patients and performs ultrasound imaging per ICAEL protocol.
• Assists cardiologist with TEE and stress imaging studies.
• Operates ultrasound systems and enters demographic data.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
• Maintains safety and infection prevention standards.
