Job summary

The University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is looking for a skilled echocardiogram technologist to perform cardio-diagnostic ultrasound exams per the Medical Director's standards. You will ensure high-quality imaging, proper patient positioning, and effective communication with patients and the care team.

Required RDCS certification and Basic Life Support, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of an RDMS-approved echocardiography program.

Qualifications

• RDCS certification required (SPI + Adult Echocardiography).
• High School Diploma or GED; RDMS-based program preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardio-diagnostic ultrasound procedures to department standards.
• Ensure quality imaging and correct patient positioning.
• Document history and assist with data entry and archiving.
• Rotate shifts and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
