Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center in White Plains, NY is seeking a Pediatric Cardiovascular Technologist to perform Color Flow and Stress Echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiography under the cardiology team.

You will also conduct non-invasive procedures such as EKG and EEG, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while supporting care across pediatric to geriatric patients. The role requires ARDMS/CCI registration and pediatric echo experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree minimum required.
• Accredited Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program required.
• Registered Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, ARDMS or CCI required.
• Two years’ pediatric echocardiography experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts color flow Doppler Echos per protocol.
• Performs Stress Echos per protocol.
• Assists Cardiologist in Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Submits high-quality echocardiograms within clinical timeframes.
• Identifies echocardiographic findings and non-invasive tests independent of supervision.
• Obtains and interprets EKGs, EEGs.
• Maintains equipment and infection control standards.
• Participates in coverage rotations and quality improvement initiatives.
