Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer for Riley Children's Health Medical Office in South Bend. Day shift Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with no weekend or on-call coverage.

Recent grads with pediatric echocardiography rotation are encouraged to apply. You will perform, administer and monitor cardio-diagnostic tests, record images, provide preliminary findings to physicians, and ensure compassionate care from pediatric patients through geriatric.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required depending on role.
• Applicant must be eligible to sit for registry and pass within one year.

Responsibilities

• Performs, administers & monitors Cardio-Diagnostic tests with primary emphasis on pediatric cardiac sonography and Doppler.
• Operates equipment, positions patients and records diagnostic images as requested by physicians.
• Provide preliminary findings and assist with timely interpretation while maintaining patient care standards.
