Job summary

Children's Wisconsin seeks a non-invasive echocardiography technician to perform pediatric echocardiography studies under supervision. You will operate echocardiography equipment, prepare preliminary reports, and review results with cardiologists.

You will maintain the lab, ensure equipment functionality, and document patient data. BLS certification and pediatric echo training are required, with registration due within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires high school education plus two years of advanced education in echocardiography.
• Must be registered as Pediatric ECHO Tech within 2 years of hire date.
• Pediatric echocardiography experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to move heavy equipment (300–400 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Operate echocardiographic equipment to produce diagnostic studies.
• Prepare preliminary echocardiography reports for cardiologist interpretation.
• Review studies with the cardiologist.
• Maintain lab and equipment for maximum function.
• Record patient information in echo logbooks and assist billing via EPIC.
