Job summary

Utah Valley Pediatrics in Orem, UT is seeking a full-time HealthySteps Specialist (LCSW/CSW) to bring early childhood development expertise into well-child visits for ages 0–3. You will work with a pediatric primary care team to support families, coordinate referrals, and promote child development within a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Current Utah licensure as LCSW or CSW.
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to underserved populations in a community setting.
• Empathic, supportive, and patient with families.
• Strong motivational interviewing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort as sole behavioral health professional on-site.

Responsibilities

• Promotes HealthySteps within the practice to families and providers.
• Conducts team-based well-child visits focusing on development and relational health.
• Provides short-term consultations for development and behavioral concerns.
• Maintains family support line and tracks call requests.
• Participates in reflective supervision meetings.
• May facilitate parent/caregiver groups.
• Creates and maintains community resource directory; provides referrals and follow-up.
• Builds relationships with community providers for referrals and warm hand-offs.
• Coordinates with front office to align scheduling with visits.
• Documents patient activity in the EHR and maintains fidelity metrics.
• Participates in HealthySteps training and supervision.
