Job summary

The Parent Child Center of Tulsa seeks a HealthySteps Specialist to join a pediatric-family practice as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will perform team-based well-child visits, assess development and social-emotional wellbeing, and connect families to community resources.

Responsibilities include enrolling families, determining tier-based services, providing psycho-social support, coordinating care, leading caregiver groups, and promoting early learning resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in early childhood development, pediatric settings, or infant mental health.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Master’s degree or 24 months of equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll new families into the HealthySteps program.
• Determine tier-based services after comprehensive assessment at recommended intervals.
• Meet with families at well-child visits with the physician or independently.
• Provide individualized clinical interventions addressing mental, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate services and referrals.
• Lead caregiver groups and community events related to early childhood and family well-being.
