Job summary

Home Heart Florida is seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations for our pediatric home health program in Jacksonville, Florida. You will shape clinical standards, develop field nurses, and build systems that remove bureaucracy while delivering high‑quality care.

As you report to the Global Administrator and work with the founding team, you’ll influence care delivery, stay ahead of AHCA and Medicaid requirements, and partner with operations, intake, and scheduling to

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• 2+ years pediatric nursing with high acuity.
• 2+ years in home health.
• 2+ years clinical leadership: DON, ADON, clinical manager, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid/managed care.
• Reliable transportation for local visits (Jacksonville).

Responsibilities

• Set clinical standards and coach the team.
• Build strong relationships with families navigating tough moments.
• Stay ahead of AHCA, Medicaid, and accreditation requirements.
• Partner with operations, intake, and scheduling to remove friction in care processes.
• Be a steady presence for nurses in the field when situations get challenging.
