Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services seeks a Registered Dietitian to join a Pediatric Specialty Care team focused on the health and growth of children with complex medical needs. You will perform nutrition assessments, create and monitor plans, and work closely with nurses, physicians, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited educational program.
• Current Pennsylvania Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) credential.
• Active and ongoing registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in long-term care, pediatric care, or a healthcare setting preferred.
• Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable nutrition, food service, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and monitor progress.
• Develop and monitor individualized nutrition plans for pediatric patients.
• Evaluate progress and collaborate with nursing, medical, and clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation.
• Monitor nutrition-related outcomes and conduct routine audits for quality and compliance.
