Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Registered Dietitian to join the Grow Clinic team. The RD will provide nutrition care for infants and children with Failure to Thrive, participate in home visiting, and coordinate follow-up with families.

The role involves counseling caregivers, developing diet plans, and documenting care per ADA standards within a multidisciplinary Pediatric Research department. Collaboration with Social Work and other therapists is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related discipline.
• Registered Dietitian certification (AND) is required.
• 2–3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care in outpatient clinics for FTT conditions.
• Interviews to assess food habits and guide diet planning.
• Assess nutritional status via labs and medical history.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans per ADA standards.
• Instruct caregivers on formula prep and diet therapy.
• Document care using the ADIME framework in charts.
