Job summary

Region 3 ESC Early Childhood Intervention in Victoria, Texas seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition assessments, counseling, and intervention for children from birth to age three with developmental delays and disabilities. The RD partners with families to support nutrition, growth, and healthy eating within the child’s natural environments.

The role requires RD registration, Texas licensure, and a Bachelor's or Master's in Nutrition/Dietetics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Current Texas state licensure as a Licensed Dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments, including dietary intake and growth measurements.
• Partner with families to develop nutrition plans and embed strategies into daily routines.
• Provide individualized nutrition counseling for growth concerns and dietary needs.
• Participate in screenings and IFSP nutrition goals with the ECI team.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with guidelines and stay current with practices.
