Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a Pediatric NP/PA to join the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics outpatient team in Winston-Salem. You will conduct comprehensive intakes, exams, and evaluations, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans for children with developmental and behavioral challenges.

The role requires pediatric experience and NC licensure with NCCPA or NP certification; ADOS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's Degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, NCCPA certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric environment.
• ADOS certification preferred.
• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program; Master's degree or higher required.
• Current North Carolina Board of Nursing RN and NP license.
• Board certified as a Pediatric NP or Family NP and/or DNP required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intakes, examinations and evaluations in medical settings.
• Use medical decision-making to determine appropriate patient care plan.
• Collaborate with medical team for effective team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to the patient.
• Perform procedures per department or practice guidelines.
• Potential for and encouraged to precept students and/or medical learners.
