Job Title: Part-Time Pediatric Dentist

Location: 1236 FM 407 Suite 100, Northlake, TX 76226

Position Type: Part-Time (2 days per week)

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to children from infancy through adolescence, ensuring a positive and educational experience that promotes lifelong oral health. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Provide preventive, therapeutic, and restorative dental care, including cleanings, sealants, fillings, and extractions.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with orthodontic specialists to coordinate comprehensive care plans when necessary.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric dentistry.
  • Valid Texas state dental license.
  • Current CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with children and their families.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
