Job summary

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children seeks a Pediatric Dentist Attending to join our academic group and provide dental services to our community.

The role includes supervising pediatric dental residents during clinic, operating room and conscious sedation, and contributing to didactic lectures, clinical care and evaluations. Eligible candidates will actively participate in setting goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program and fostering resident research activities, with advancement

Qualifications

Degree in DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited dental school.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania.
Able to obtain dental anesthesia permit – restricted I (oral conscious sedation) in PA.
Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision of the pediatric dental residents during clinic, in operating room and conscious sedation procedures.
Participation is required for resident didactic lectures, clinical care and evaluations.
Actively participate in the development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program.
Engage in the development and foster resident research activities.
Advancement opportunities to Associate Program Director and Program Director Positions for the right person that exhibits leadership qualities and skills.
