Job summary

Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team. We are part of 42 North Dental, a full-service, multi-specialty practice focused on preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment near Boston.

This role offers a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earning potential through percentage of collections, a flexible schedule, and easy access from downtown Boston (about 15 miles).

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review, interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism in the office.
• Stay updated on new developments, technologies, and standard of care through CE.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
