Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Wellesley, MA, just outside Boston. The practice focuses on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry within a full-service, multi-specialty environment.

This role offers a per diem compensation model with uncapped earnings through a percentage of collections, plus integrated orthodontics and periodontics, and a flexible schedule based on providers' availability.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
