Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist open to treating children. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic and Periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Part-time or full-time schedules are available with a per diem of $1,000–$1,200.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
