Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dedicated pediatric dentist (or a general dentist who treats children) to join the Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw, MI. The practice offers General, Pediatric, Orthodontic and Periodontic services with modern equipment and a collaborative team.

Part-time or full-time schedules are available with flexible days. The office emphasizes career growth and a long-term commitment, with opportunities to contribute to a multi-specialty setting.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
