Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist comfortable with treating children, to join our team. Our practice delivers General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services with a dedicated patient base and modern facilities.

The candidate may work part-time or full-time, with a supportive team and a competitive daily rate of $1,000–$1,200 USD per day, plus growth opportunities within 42 North Dental's multi-specialty network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office; keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.
