Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited dental program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism in the office
• Keep current with new developments, technologies, and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program
