Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist or general dentist open to treating children. The practice offers General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern facility with integrated care and growth opportunities.

Per diem compensation and flexible schedules are noted. Responsibilities include pediatric care, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plans with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays; monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics in the office.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
