Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist (or a general dentist comfortable with treating children) to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and discuss treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment plans.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
