Job summary
42North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or a General Dentist) to join the Great Lakes Family Dental practice in Saginaw, MI. The role offers part-time or full-time options with a per-diem schedule and a mix of pediatric and general services, including orthodontics and oral surgery within the practice.
The ideal candidate will have a DMD/DDS, board eligibility, state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
- Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review, interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients
- Maintain ethics and professionalism; pursue ongoing education and development
