Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a pediatric dentist or a general dentist open to treating children to join our team. We offer general, pediatric, orthodontic, and periodontic services in a modern, state-of-the-art facility with integrated orthodontics and oral surgery.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS, board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry, a current license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office

Formation

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
