Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist open to treating children to join our team. This full-time position offers a broad scope including integrated orthodontics and oral surgery within a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

The right candidate will have a DMD or DDS, board eligibility, license to practice in Michigan, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and current BLS/CPR certification, with a commitment to outstanding patient

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review treatment plan options with patients.
Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of teeth and jaws.
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics in the practice.
