Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist who is open to treating children to join the Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw, MI. The practice offers general, pediatric, orthodontic and periodontic services with a dedicated patient base and modern technology.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Uphold ethics and professionalism; stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA‑accredited)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry
