Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental is seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist who is open to treating children, to join our team in our Saginaw, MI office. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Part-time or Full-Time schedule, flexible days based on provider's interest/availability. 1,000 - 1,200 per diem.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office; keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
