Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist who treats children, to join our Saginaw, MI office. We offer General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services in a modern facility with a dedicated patient base.

Part-time or Full-Time schedules are available, with a per diem of $1,000–$1,200. We foster a supportive team, opportunities for growth, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
