Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley/Boston area is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice on a part-time basis. You will deliver comprehensive pediatric dental care, with focus on prevention, treatment planning, and patient education within a collaborative team.

This role offers per diem compensation, with flexible days and a supportive work environment designed for long-term careers. State licensure in MA and board eligibility/certification in pediatric dentistry are required.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current state license to practice dentistry

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education
