Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join the Wellesley, MA practice on a part-time basis. The role includes a per diem compensation with uncapped earning potential through a percentage of collections, and integration of orthodontics and periodontics within the practice.

The position offers a flexible schedule, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive team in a state-of-the-art facility near Boston, with a focus on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry
