Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental licensure to practice in MA.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostics; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics; stay current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
