Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a part-time position at our Wellesley, MA location, just outside of Boston. The practice features integrated orthodontics and periodontics, a dedicated patient base, and a supportive team environment designed for long-term careers.

Your responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining the highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostics; monitor growth of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics in the dental office.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
