Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a pediatric dentist to join the Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional pediatric care within a multi-specialty practice just outside Boston.

The role supports integrated orthodontics and periodontics, offers a flexible schedule based on provider availability, and provides a strong patient base with modern equipment and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active state dental license.
• Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment choices.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostics.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
