Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental seeks a full-time pediatric dentist (or general dentist treating children) to join our Saginaw, MI team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services with a dedicated patient base and state-of-the-art facilities.

Part-time or full-time schedules available; flexible days based on provider availability. Opportunities for career growth and integrated orthodontics and oral surgery within the practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and best practices through continuing education.
