We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our established, family-oriented dental practice in Westerly, RI. Our office is dedicated to providing high-quality, gentle care in a fun, welcoming environment designed specifically for children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive oral health care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs
• Perform routine exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, pulpotomies, crowns, extractions, and space maintenance
• Offer nitrous oxide or minimal sedation when appropriate to reduce anxiety
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene, growth, and preventative care
• Collaborate with a supportive team of dental professionals to ensure the highest level of care
• Uphold infection control, safety, and sterilization protocols
• Foster a positive, child-friendly environment that builds trust and reduces dental anxiety

Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
• Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from a CODA-accredited program
• Active Rhode Island dental license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with behavior management and treating special needs patients is a plus
