Toothbeary Pediatric Dentistry in Richmond, VA is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. You will provide preventative, restorative, and emergency care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs, delivering care with a child-friendly approach.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program.
• Current state dental license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, high quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver compassionate care using behavior guidance techniques and age-appropriate communication.
• Collaborate with a friendly, experienced clinical team to ensure outstanding patient experiences.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Develop a trusting relationship with children and parents ensuring a calm and positive dental visit.
