Job description

Star Community Health Federally Qualified Health Center LA is seeking Pediatric Dentists for our Dental program. This Dentist will provide direct dental care to patients in the communities supported by our Health Center.

Our Affiliation

Our Health Center is affiliated with St. Luke's Dental Medicine Residency, accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

Our residents, faculty, and Providers collaborate to deliver excellent patient care and support in a teaching and scholarly environment.

Core Faculty Responsibilities

The Core Faculty positions oversee, administer, and supervise all aspects of the Dental Clinic Residency Program. This position does not include preceptor responsibilities.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Experienced DDS or DMD
  • Valid unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania
  • Evidence of current professional liability insurance
  • Desirable: current conscious sedation (Nitrous Oxide) license
  • Strongly recommended: five years of clinical experience
  • Current CPR and BLS certificates

About Our Facility

Founded in 2019, Star Community Health maintains an affiliation with St. Luke's University Health Network. Our Dentists can treat patients across three offices, three mobile vans, and in St. Luke's University hospital operating rooms. Our facilities feature HEPA filtration systems, state-of-the-art equipment, and a total of 21 operatories.
